1. Products feasible to execute?
- Yes, our products The Tail-Warming Oden, Meow-Meets-Woof Laksa, and Cold Brewed Tea are practical to prepare and serve during the event. Ingredients are easy to source, preparation can be done in batches, and the cooking process fits within the event’s facilities and time frame. We have also arranged enough team members to handle cooking, serving, and quality control.
2. Budget? Are you willing to spend the amount you presented?
- The current budget is slightly over the initial estimate due to higher-than-expected ingredient and packaging costs. However, the team is still willing to cover the additional expense as we believe it will help maintain product quality and presentation, ultimately increasing sales and fundraising impact for PAWS.
Status Update:
1. Logistics
Our team has finalized the booth layout and planned the setup to ensure it is visually attractive and easy for visitors to navigate. Ingredient purchasing for the food items (oden, laksa, and cold-brew tea) will take place soon, with a focus on sourcing fresh and cost-effective supplies. We have also listed down all required equipment, with some items already secured through borrowing to reduce expenses. Signage and decoration plans have been completed to align with the “Once Upon a Tail” theme, ensuring the booth stands out during the event.
2. NGO
We have successfully established communication with our chosen NGO, PAWS Animal Welfare Society, and confirmed our collaboration. PAWS has approved the use of their logo for promotional purposes, which will be featured on custom stickers attached to all food items sold. Posters featuring event details and the PAWS cause have been designed and placed around campus to raise awareness and attract interest ahead of the event.
3. Donation + Sponsorship
Sponsorship request letters have been sent to potential partners, though we have not yet received any confirmations. In terms of donations, we are still in the process of reaching out to individuals and encouraging contributions through personal networks and promotional efforts. We aim to increase donation engagement in the coming week through more targeted promotion. The combination of on-campus posters, social media posts, and word-of-mouth will help build momentum leading up to the event.

- As the Secretary, my main responsibility is to manage documentation, meeting records, and coordination between team members to ensure smooth communication and task progress. I have been keeping track of meeting minutes, compiling updates from each department, and ensuring all event-related documents are properly organized. Currently, I am also assisting in preparing the campaign write-up, finalizing event details for submission, and helping with the design and proofreading of promotional materials such as posters and stickers. In addition, I help oversee timelines to make sure each team is on schedule for their assigned tasks.

- At the moment, I am still waiting for a response from the sponsor, and the final decision regarding the food pricing has yet to be confirmed. Once I receive the sponsor's reply and the food prices are finalized, I will be able to proceed with the next steps accordingly

- As part of the Marketing & Promotion team, I have created a poster showcasing our product images, along with the booth’s venue and date, as well as a short video featuring our food products. At this stage, I am on standby and ready to assist other teams or contribute to any additional tasks that could make our booth more appealing.

- For logistics, I’ve helped plan the booth layout and made a list of what we need. On the marketing side, the menu is done and added an offer RM1 cold brew tea with oden. For promotions, we’re working on some simple posters and IG captions to promote both our product and PAWS. I’ve also gathered info about PAWS to display at our booth.
