Exercise 2: Ideation (Danish Haikal Bin Mohd Sani 0139019)

Transforming the “Happier, Healthier, Safer” shelter concept into practical products felt like an exciting challenge. I wanted to raise awareness about stray animals while offering items people can use daily. The tote bag became a simple yet powerful tool—a walking awareness piece sparking conversations about kindness and the needs of stray animals wherever it goes. It is not just a bag; it carries a mission to help fund safer shelters and support adoption efforts.

Alongside the tote, I developed the PAWmise Kit, a lightweight, eco-friendly mixed-use pack symbolising shared love between humans and animals. By including daily-use items and eco-safe treats, the kit promotes cleaner living while reminding users of the importance of caring for stray animals. It feels warm and caring while aligning with green values.

This project taught me the importance of aligning design with purpose to build emotional connections and inspire small yet impactful actions. I hope these products will contribute meaningfully toward reducing stray animal suffering while creating a positive, compassionate community.
